How to hold Europe
Europe sits at the centre of the map and connects to everything — a powerful bonus, but a leaky one, with borders facing three other continents.

The frontier
4 of Europe's territories sit on the border, exposed to 6 approaches from outside. These are the tiles you have to garrison — everything behind them is safe.
| Border territory | Exposed to |
|---|---|
| Iceland | Greenland |
| Western Europe | North Africa |
| Southern Europe | Middle East, Egypt, North Africa |
| Ukraine | Ural, Afghanistan, Middle East |
How to hold it
Europe is hard to keep unless you also pressure your neighbours. Hold it only when you can afford to defend several fronts at once, or use it as a launch pad rather than a fortress.
Key choke point: Iceland has the fewest ways in — just 1 (Greenland). Stack it first; it's the cheapest tile to turn into a wall.
